World of Warcraft: Shadowlands becomes fastest-selling PC game of all time

On Tuesday morning, Activision Blizzard announced that the eighth expansion in the iconic MMORPG’s franchise, World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, became the fastest-selling PC game of all time. By the end of the expansion’s launch day, which took place on November 23, more than 3.7 million units had been sold globally, according to Activision Blizzard. The previous record-holder was Blizzard’s own Diablo III which sold more than 3.5 million copies on its first day of release back on May 15, 2012.To get more news about buy WoW Classic Items, you can visit lootwowgold official website.

"It’s been a huge thrill to enter this whole-new dimension of the Warcraft universe together with millions of players around the world,” said J. Allen Brack, president of Blizzard Entertainment. "It’s been equally rewarding to see players enjoying all of the new features and content in Shadowlands
—whether they’re exploring new aspects of their characters with the Covenants or setting foot in WoW for the first time with the new-player experience in Exile’s Reach—and there’s much more to come.”

According to Activision Blizzard, players have spent more time playing the franchise this year than any time during the last decade and nearly double last year’s total.
